Education: Opening the doors to the future
Education is the key that opens the doors to the future. In Côte d’Ivoire, many children, especially in rural areas, do not have access to quality education. This limits their opportunities and hinders the development of their communities.
At the Attou Foundation, we believe that every child deserves a chance. That is why we are working to make education accessible, inclusive and adapted to local realities.
The challenges
Education is essential for human and social development. The main challenges we face are:
- School dropout: Many children, especially girls, leave school before completing their education.
- Limited access to resources: Lack of textbooks, supplies and adequate infrastructure in some rural areas.
- Quality of education: Teachers sometimes need ongoing training to better support their students.
- Inclusive and equitable education: Ensuring that all children, regardless of their background or social situation, can learn in good conditions.
- Link to sustainable development: Educating young people about social and environmental issues to prepare the leaders of tomorrow.

Construction of a learning center for young people in Folon
This project aims to build a learning center for young people in rural areas. It will include Training rooms (agriculture, crafts, sewing, etc.) A media library and a digital space Social and professional support The goal is to offer a concrete alternative to rural unemployment by promoting independence and self-employment.

Climate change
Acting for our planet, acting for our communities. We support communities in limiting the effects of climate change by promoting sustainable practices and responsible management of natural resources. Every action counts towards a greener future.
Gender-based violence
Listen, protect, act. We raise awareness, train and support victims of gender-based violence. Our goal: to build safe environments where every woman and young person can live with respect and dignity.
Culture
Preserving our roots, sharing our identity. We promote Ivorian heritage by supporting the arts, traditions, local languages and craftsmanship. Culture is a vehicle for social cohesion and pride in our communities.
International cooperation
Stronger together. We build strong partnerships with local and international actors to pool skills and resources, thereby creating a sustainable and large-scale social impact.
Renewable Energy
Lighting up lives, protecting the future. We install clean energy solutions, such as solar kits, to bring electricity to isolated communities. Awareness-raising, training and responsible practices accompany each project to ensure sustainable development.
