Climate change: Working together for a sustainable future

Climate change is not a distant threat: it is already impacting lives, communities and ecosystems in Côte d’Ivoire and Africa. The most vulnerable populations are often the first to be affected by rising temperatures, floods, droughts and biodiversity loss.
At the Attou Foundation, we believe that every action counts. Our initiatives aim to raise awareness, educate and support communities so that they can adapt and build a sustainable future.
Challenges

Climate change directly affects daily life and community development:

The challenges

Completed projects

Upcoming projects

Urban forests: breathing tomorrow

This project involves creating micro-forest spaces in large cities (schools, disadvantaged neighborhoods) using the Miyawaki method. The goal is to combat pollution, improve air quality, and educate young people about climate issues through workshops.

Other areas of intervention

Gender-based violence

Listen, protect, act. We raise awareness, train and support victims of gender-based violence. Our goal: to build safe environments where every woman and young person can live with respect and dignity.

Education

Learn today to grow tomorrow.
We work to promote inclusive, quality education, particularly in rural areas. Providing school kits, adapted learning spaces and support for teachers: we do everything we can to ensure that every child has a chance to succeed.

Culture

Preserving our roots, sharing our identity.
We promote Ivorian heritage by supporting the arts, traditions, local languages and craftsmanship. Culture is a vehicle for social cohesion and pride in our communities.

International cooperation

Stronger together.
We build strong partnerships with local and international actors to pool skills and resources, thereby creating a sustainable and large-scale social impact.

Renewable energy

Lighting up lives, protecting the future.
We install clean energy solutions, such as solar kits, to bring electricity to isolated communities. Awareness-raising, training and responsible practices accompany each project to ensure sustainable development.
